Ubisoft surprised us by announcing Steep, the simulation of extreme winter sports at this year’s pre-summer E3, and the interest of the audience followed the meteorological trends, the first was warm, and then only gradually coolant to the final release. Small internal studio Ubisoft Annecy explains that this game project is driven their passion and perhaps is easy to recognize in the game on which they mean by, but not why it made some stupid decisions related to the game. Interestingly, short Google search of the term “passion” offers…

Ten years in the gaming industry is a very long time. This is for instance the difference between GTA 3 and Red Dead Redemption. That’s about how much lasted work on The Last Guardian, which was originally supposed to take hold on the then latest PlayStation 3, but was overly ambitious and we welcomed him on for three-year-old PlayStation 4. And it’s good that we waited because there is absolutely no chance that PS3 could pull some special moments that The Last Guardian is hiding. Unfortunately, at the same…

All this admittedly came unstuck when they concealed one bug that is making trouble to the owners of PS4 Pro that blured picture and…

Lately, from personal interests, I’ve been studying design of some expensive menu titles and I have to confide you that I noticed something. I remember well my first encounter with the Call of Duty franchise. In the demo version of the original game we played the Ste. Mere Eglise mission which it took just ten seconds to break the conventions of the genre FPS. I was pleasantly shocked by the realistic depiction of war or rather the illusion of a team match. In Call of Duty, I was not extraordinary hero who sets free France of Nazi occupation. I fought in the group, with the help of comrades, and that was something…

We believe that we all know those kids who are struggling to be noticed and be seen as special so then they perform nonsense. One would come in the middle of winter to the school in a T-shirt. Never mind that it’s stupid, but it is functional strategy of drawing attention to themselves. Sometimes this immature behavior maintains in an adult. Very similar symptoms can be found in the game Watch Dogs 2. The most important lesson that Ubisoft has pulled out of the original Watch Dogs was that…

Games for the PlayStation 3 can now be (free) to play on the PC – it’s a news that sounds great, and although it is not untrue, when it is set on this way, it can lead to false conclusions. So we decided to clarify the situation and put together a short guide on how to play Sony exclusives on your computer. HOW IT WORKS? For a start it should be noted that the games run through the services PlayStation Now. If you know what it is and you…

This turned out to be one hell of a year for shooting games so I hope it won’t be a little bit unfair when I put them now side by side. Titanfall 2 found himself sandwiched between the other two giant which is why he’s screwed, and you do not want to mess with them. You know exactly what I’m talking about. After all, we’re here to talk about TitanFall, precisely about TitanFall two and you can simply say that it is pretty damn good. According to some, Titanfall…
